The Pan African Association for Small & Medium Industries (PAOSMI) recognizes the vital role women and youth play in driving Africa's economic growth and development. To empower these crucial demographics, PAOSMI establishes the Center for Women's Economic Empowerment and Youth Development (CWE&YD).

Vision:

To be the leading catalyst for the economic empowerment of women and youth in Africa, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurship, innovation, and inclusive prosperity.

Mission:

1. Provide capacity building: Equip women and youth with the entrepreneurial skills, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed.
2. Facilitate access to finance: Connect women and youth entrepreneurs with funding opportunities and financial literacy training.
3. Promote market access: Help women and youth businesses break into local, regional, and international markets.
4. Advocate for policy change: Influence policies that foster a conducive environment for women and youth entrepreneurship.
5. Build networks and partnerships: Create platforms for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and peer support among women and youth entrepreneurs.

The CWE&YD will operate through four key pillars:

• Access to finance initiatives: Connecting women and youth entrepreneurs with lenders, investors, and grant opportunities.
• Market access facilitation: Trade missions, matchmaking events, and e-commerce platforms to help businesses reach new markets.
• Policy advocacy: Researching and advocating for policies that support women and youth entrepreneurship.

2. Networking and Partnerships:

• Building networks of women and youth entrepreneurs: Creating platforms for peer support, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
• Partnering with stakeholders: Collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, private sector companies, and academic institutions to amplify our impact.

3. Research and Knowledge Sharing:

• Conducting research on the challenges and opportunities faced by women and youth entrepreneurs in Africa.
