Our Corporate Identity
PAOSMI is a Pan African organization dedicated to the development and promotion of the small and medium industries (SMIs) across Africa- Powered by Value Addition, Innovation and Sustainability of SMIs. As confederation, it represents the interests of voluntarily associated over fifty national and regional networks with thousands of individual Industrial Business across fifteen industrial sectors in the Continent with the aim to give SMIs a Voice to Fuel the Continent’s Rise. PAOSMI supports the development of a competitive and sustainable SMIs by leveraging knowledge-driven Innovative Ecosystem of Science, Technology, Innovation (STI) leading to business and market transformation as we bring together the government, Industry and Academia with the community to collaboratively drive African Industrialization agenda through Small and Medium Industries (SMIs).
OUR MODEL AND APPROACH
- The Model is targeted at drive African Industrialization through the Development and promotion of Small and Medium Industries (SMIs) Powered by Value Addition, Innovation and Sustainability of SMIs. This strategy stands on triple helix-Government, Academia, and Industry, , and aims at bringing the SMIs stakeholder and SMIs in Africa under one platform that will help in supporting and improving African SMIs over time and make them competitive in a sustainable manner.

MISSION
Our Mission is to facilitate, promote and catalyze the development and growth of small and medium industries (SMIs) with startups in Africa through advocacy, networking, capacity building, and access to raw materials and finance neccessary to succeed in the marketplace in the context of the African Continental Free trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA) while acting as voice for collective interest and defence
GOVERNANCE AND LEADERSHIP
The General Assembly composed of all PAOSMI member network Governing board Are eminent and reputable leaders drawn from chairs of PAOMI member’s Networks, AUC, RECs Reps, Strategic development partners and a few other strategic persons, headed by the Chairman with an alternate Chair person. |
The Continental Executive Council is a crucial organ of the PAOSMI, serving as the association’s executive arm and driving force for regional integration and industrial development across Africa, headed by the Director General/CEO with other elected representatives supported by the Secretariat.
